Being Bubbie
I wrote this back in November of 2020 when I was the Bubbie of only 3 little ones. Now the 5th one is on the way! I sure do love these grandbabies!! You know, being a mama never ends but it changes for sure. I am now a Bubbie (aka a granny or grandmother as I called my two ancestral mothers). It means so much more than just mama did. I absolutely loved being mama to my two daughters but being Bubbie is a whole different thing. Everyone told me it was different- better even.... how could it be better when I had awesome daughters? They are still awesome and I love watching them be mamas too, but being Bubbie is so different than being mama.
